TheRecordXchange® — Six Products. One Platform.
Your Court. Modernized.
Courts run on records — audio, transcripts, filings, and requests that must be captured, stored, accessed, and delivered with precision. TRX replaces the patchwork of phone calls, paper forms, and proprietary hardware with a single, browser-based platform built exclusively for courts.
What courts are dealing with today
Before TRX, courts managed records with tools designed for other industries — or no tools at all. These are the four problems we were built to solve.
Outdated recording hardware
Proprietary systems lock courts into a single vendor. Replacements are expensive, slow, and disruptive to daily operations.
Manual transcription backlog
Court reporters produce transcripts entirely by hand. The workload is unsustainable, turnaround times are long, and backlogs grow.
Inefficient record requests
Attorneys call, fax, or email for transcripts. Staff track requests in spreadsheets. Status updates require phone calls. Nothing is automated.
Insecure record access
Records sit on local servers or shared drives with inconsistent access controls. Audit trails are incomplete. Security certifications are absent.
How TRX works — from courtroom to delivery
Seven stages. One connected platform. Every step browser-based.
Step 1 — Capture
Morpheus
Morpheus is a browser-based court recording system that captures audio and video from any courtroom setup — replacing aging proprietary hardware with a vendor-agnostic, cloud-connected recording solution.
Most court recording systems tie courts to a single hardware vendor for support, upgrades, and storage. Morpheus breaks that dependency. Courts gain control of their own records from the moment of capture, and recordings flow directly into the TRX platform for transcription and access.
- Vendor-agnostic capture — Works alongside existing recording infrastructure. No rip-and-replace required.
- Browser-based administration — Manage recording sessions, schedules, and access from any modern web browser.
- Direct platform integration — Recordings flow into Asgard and TranscriptionPro automatically — no manual file transfer.
- SOC 2 Type II certified — Audio captured through Morpheus is protected under independently audited security controls.
Step 2 — Transcribe
VoiceCopy™
VoiceCopy is TRX's speech-to-text engine. It processes court proceeding audio and generates a structured first-draft transcript automatically — eliminating the blank-page problem for certified court reporters.
VoiceCopy is not a replacement for court reporters. It is a force multiplier. Reporters review the AI-generated draft, make corrections, and certify the final document. The result is a legally certified transcript produced at dramatically higher throughput.
- Automatic first-draft transcription — Audio from any recording system is processed and converted to a structured draft.
- Speaker identification — The engine identifies and labels speakers in the transcript draft, reducing reporter correction time.
- Legal vocabulary trained — VoiceCopy is trained on court terminology — legal phrases, case names, and judicial language.
- Human-in-the-loop by design — Every transcript is reviewed and certified by a licensed court reporter before delivery.
Step 3 — Access (Internal)
Asgard
Asgard is the internal court platform — a browser-based record repository where court staff store, manage, and securely access audio, video, and certified transcripts from any modern web browser.
Asgard is the foundation of the TRX platform. It centralizes all court records into one organized, searchable system with role-based access controls, a full audit trail, and SOC 2 Type II certified security. Vendor-agnostic by design, Asgard works with recordings from any system courts already use.
- Centralized record repository — Audio, video, and certified transcripts stored in one organized, searchable system.
- Browser-based access — Court staff access records from any device without installing software.
- Role-based access controls — Granular permissions ensure only authorized users access specific records.
- Vendor-agnostic — Accepts records from any recording system. No dependency on a single vendor.
- SOC 2 Type II certified — Security and availability controls verified by an independent third-party auditor.
- Full audit trail — Every access and action is logged with timestamps for compliance and dispute resolution.
Step 4 — Analyze
TR Assist
TR Assist is an AI assistant built for judges and court staff. It analyzes case records, surfaces relevant precedent, and helps prepare bench materials — all within a secure, browser-based interface connected to the TRX platform.
Judicial research is time-intensive. TR Assist reduces that burden by automatically surfacing what is relevant to the case at hand — prior rulings, procedural history, and case summaries — so judges and staff can focus on judgment, not retrieval.
- Case record analysis — Analyzes case files and transcripts to surface relevant history and context.
- Precedent retrieval — Identifies and summarizes relevant prior rulings within the court's own record set.
- Bench note preparation — Helps prepare structured bench notes and draft orders from case materials.
- Secure browser-based interface — Accessible from any browser. No data leaves the TRX secure environment.
- AI Privacy by Design — Case data is never used to train external AI models. Court data stays in court.
Step 5 — Request (External)
Request Central
Request Central is the external-facing portal that replaces phone calls, paper forms, and email threads with a structured online workflow. Attorneys, journalists, and parties submit transcript requests online; courts manage and fulfill them through a single dashboard.
Transcript request management is one of the most time-intensive burdens in a court clerk's office. Request Central automates every stage — intake to delivery — so staff can focus on work that requires human judgment rather than tracking spreadsheets and returning status calls. Marion County Superior Courts, Indiana processes 200–300 requests per month through Request Central.
- Online requester portal — Attorneys, journalists, and parties submit requests without calling or mailing a form.
- Court dashboard — A single interface for intake, review, approval, and fulfillment.
- Automated status notifications — Requesters receive updates at each stage without court staff manually responding.
- Full audit trail — Every request action is logged with timestamps for compliance and dispute resolution.
- Integrated with Asgard — Approved requests pull directly from the Asgard record repository — no manual file retrieval.
Steps 6 & 7 — Draft, Certify & Deliver
TRX TranscriptionPro™
TRX TranscriptionPro is the AI-assisted transcription system that closes the loop. VoiceCopy generates the first draft; a certified court reporter reviews, corrects, and certifies the final transcript. The result meets every legal standard for certified court transcripts — produced at dramatically higher speed.
1. VoiceCopy Draft
Audio from any recording system is processed by VoiceCopy speech-to-text. A structured, speaker-labeled draft is generated automatically.
2. Reporter Review
A certified court reporter reviews the draft in the browser-based TranscriptionPro interface, makes corrections, and certifies the final transcript.
3. Certified Delivery
The certified transcript is stored in Asgard and made available for Request Central fulfillment. Full chain of custody documented.
